Hey everyone. We build a free, open source, mobile app called Umbrella. It helps journalists and activists manage their digital and physical security on the move. It has loads of features like lessons on everything from how to send a secure message to how to physically meet with a source securely. More about it here at https://www.secfirst.org.
We are about to launch a totally new version on Android and an iOS version. We want to make sure that journalists at high risk will know about it and be able to use it but we are more technically brained than PR/Communications brained.
There is a suitable person or organisation with experience in PR who:
-Has build campaigns from scratch
-Has experience launching successful mobile apps, particularly in the US market
-Has extensive experience working with journalists
-Has an understanding of the security needs of activists and journalists
-Has a strong ability to connect with and outreach to the tech and wider press
-Can execute from start to launch within one month
