We are looking to create a user-friendly online directory platform that provides comprehensive information about various training programs in the wellness field. More specific details on the industry plus the site map and biz plan will be shared upon hire.
The project will involve building a user-friendly website that includes features such as a searchable directory, personalized search options and filters and user profiles. The website will also incorporate a visually appealing and simple design that reflects our mission to create positive change in the world.
The platform will offer personalized search options, filters, and detailed information on various training programs, including their schedules, budgets, styles, and more. Will need a capability for users to upload their FREE listings, plus an option for paid featured listings. Will also need a login for those who are searching the directory, so they can save their favorite listings to their own page. This would be a simple account ~ not a membership based login (if we understand correctly).
At this time we don't think we will want to have messaging between the two types of users on this site.
A store may be added on at a later date (after year 1 possibly).
Will need a simple way to track analytics on the site
Will need to be trained on the back end of the website so we can upload blogs and articles and make small reasonable changes on our own, including dealing with any account issues for our users.
The website will include articles, and guides related to wellness and personal growth. The content will be optimized for search engines and designed to provide value and engage with the target audience.
The website will need to be mobile responsive and optimized for search engines (SEO). In addition, the website will require robust security measures to protect user data and ensure privacy and be able to accept payments. Open to hearing in your experience what payment plugins are best! Any expertise and ideas of what works best for this type of project is appreciated.
We are open to discussing reasonable proposals from experienced and skilled web developers who are aligned with the mission and values of the platform. Please send an estimate of how much this would take to build and timeframe ~ we understand that this would be a ballpark figure and that things may change once more details of the project are shared. There is also a possible need for updates as the platform evolves, so would need you to be available for that.
