Wordpress Blog Design and Transfer

This job has a number of components:

1) We would like to imitate the design of a particular website, [url removed, login to view] excluding all the content and hyperlinks that are within the design and remove the blog's logo and use our own in short, copy and paste a theme and adapt it to our site.

NB: Though we want to copy the look of [url removed, login to view] website, we don't want to use any of their code from their site because of copyright issues.

2) Create a navigation bar with a handful of links

3) Help us put in RSS and email blog subscription and link these two services to a feedburner account that has already been created.

4) Put Google Analytics, Hittail and Crazy Egg code in the footer.

5) Transfer a few plugins over from the original theme of our website, [url removed, login to view] into the new theme you create including related posts plugin.

6) Install a News reader box similar to the news box that appears on an igoogle homepage that is constantly updated with alerts for key words that we shall provide.

Blog Design

The site should have the following features from the website [url removed, login to view]:

I. The same colour and type of header banner and side banner. Exclude all the content in both the header and the side banner. Instead of the words “the bullion desk” at the very top left corner of the screen, insert the words “The Traders Round Table” in plain white text. We will test and tweak colour and positions of this until we find something that we can mutually agree on.

II. On the left sidebar the website should have:

Feeburner and email subscription options as described below.

On the header, the following text links should link to the following pages:

“Home” that links to the homepage: [url removed, login to view]

“First time Here?” which links to the page “Welcome Page”: [url removed, login to view]

“About” which links to “About the Traders Round Table”:

“Best Articles” which links to “Best Articles”:

Feedburneer and Email subscription

1. Install Feedburner button and ability to subscribe via email above the fold. Put email and RSS subscription boxes in the same position as on [url removed, login to view] I.e. the left sidebar above the fold:

2. Copy the copyblogger style of email subscription box but adapt the text font and the colours to the sites colours

3. Instead of the Subscribe text, and feedburner subscriber count chicklet simply put a large RSS button and the words “Subscribe via RSS” Get the big orange button from: [url removed, login to view]

4. Both the RSS button and email subscription must be linked to Feedburner's service.

News Reader Box

1. Set up an RSS News Reader Box, similar to the news box in [url removed, login to view] . Look at the attached picture for an example.

2. It should link to News feeds (news sources only, ignore blog feeds, you ) for the following categories:

Crude Oil;

Nasdaq;

S&P 500;

Dow Jones;

Uranium;

Sugar;

Gasoline;

Wheat;

Platinum;

Electricity;

Pork bellies;

Coffee;

Cotton;

4. It should be customized to suite the colours and fonts of the [url removed, login to view] website and should be much bigger (have 15 news items in it) than the example in the screenshot

5) It should have a headline and then the first few sentences in the news story.

Extra Features

Install Google Analytics code and Hit tail code that I shall provide.

Transfer the Related Posts plugin and make sure that a list of 5 related posts appears at the end of every single post but not in the homepage : [url removed, login to view]
