Wordpress plugin that allows a shortcode to be used to redirect any list of terms (categories, tags, custom taxonomies) to be redirected to a given search engine.

User would provide url for the search engine, or select it from a set list. The code would need to coexist (not overwrite or redirect) permalinks NOT surrounded by the shortcode - such that the list of linked terms can link to archived posts and then the same list could be repeated within the short code and link to a search URL, resulting in a search of the term in Google, Wikipedia, Bing, etc., in a separate window. Example: [linkout search="[login to view URL]"] [/linkout].

This job is essentially a test, intended to lead to more work. Javascript is also a benefit, particularly if you've done any work with Electron.
