Having been into programming that long, I have developed a very simple and effective project development procedure which main purpose is to balance interests of both parties involved -webmaster and programmer. Webmasters always want to have a firm quote for the project before the start, but how can I come up with it when there are so many things which one cannot possibly predict or foresee? I can make a general assessment of the project, but it should be regarded as a guess. Here is what you have to do if you want me to fix a website or to build one or even to do some programming. You should check my project development procedure described on this very page and get in touch with me if it is ok. No payment is required at this point. To get started, you must inform me in some way that you agree to work under this procedure. Also send me all the necessary information including server access, project description, background, etc. After that I begin to work presenting on a daily basis a very detailed progress report which reflects tasks, fixes, time spent, money due. By reading these reports and sending feedback, you can drive me into a desired direction. Remember, I do not know what you need unless you tell me; some things are not as obvious as they may seem to be. So it is very important that you participate in the project development at every stage to get it right. When the amount due reaches $50 point, you have to check my overall progress up to this point and decide whether you want me to continue. If you find it unsatisfactory, there is no need to pay.
