USA Maryland Platform : C++, Windows Team Size : 2 Duration : Started May 2003 Project Description : Orange Tech provides E-COM solutions to trading partners to transfer their documents over E-COM VAN. In order to transfer document over E-COM VAN, document is required to be in standardised format (EDI). Sending and receiving parties come up with their documents in different formats, to transfer these documents over E-COM VAN they need to be translated into EDI format. Purpose of translation module is to translate trading partners documents to EDI format and Vice versa. Responsibilty : My role in this application is to design data structure and discuss issues with client as well as coding , testing. Application has rigid security requirements include access control and authorization. Application is designed in such a manner that this application can be customised to any university. This application keeps track of role change history. Responsibilty : My role in this project is to design application , prepare project plan, and Coding. And assign task to team members. Project : Online Video recording and playback system. Client : Zexia Software Ltd. Oxford UK. Duration : Jan 2002 – October 2002 Platform : Linux 7.2 , QT 3.1. Project Description : Zexia is developing Client-Server based video recording/playback system in which there can be number of cameras which can be configured to record the images and server store these images in its local repository which can be accessed by client. Resposibilities : My role in this project was on client development in which I worked on configuration management component setting various configuration parameters and reflecting the changes on the server . Client component interact with server through socket. Project : Converting XMI file to WDO XML file and generating EJB façade. Platform : Korn shell, Java1.2, XML, XSL, Oracle, Argo UML and J2EE Duration : 3 Month Sept-2001- November-2001. Client/Organisation : Software Design Automation Corporation (SDA Corp) Team Size : 3 Description : WDO is product by SDA for the rapid development of high performance and complete persistent business components for use in web enabled application. A developer who uses WDO first applies the WDO modelling methodology in order to arrive at a layered object model. The model that defines the database–persistent business level objects is then represented in particular XML vocabulary that is defined by WDO’s DTD, which is further used for code generation. This project involves generation of WDO XML file from the XMI (XML Metadata interchange format) file representing a UML model, using XSL transformation. Another module of this project involves generation of Session bean façade from the XML file of WDO. Purpose of second module is to enable WDO component’s classes to be accessed remotely using EJB session bean. Project : Prototype to access COM component from JSP page using SOAP environment. Platform : VC++ , Java, MSSOAP Toolkit, Tomcat Apache SOAP . Duration : 3 Month (Developed Prototype ) July-2001-Sept.-2001. Client /Organisation : Knowledge Network Software Inc. USA Team Size : 3 Description : The aim of this project was to develop a website prototyping model in JSP for market survey. In this web site we want to use specialized COM components developed by SPSS for market research. To accomplish this task we have created SOAP environment in which Windows 2000 server act as a SOAP server and Tomcat Apache configuration act as SOAP client where JSP file runs.
