My website is actually two websites on two different domains (one is a .com and the other is a .org). The two websites are connected via the “Inventua PassThrough?? module. The two sites look as though they are one site. The reason there are two sites is so forums, blogs, and other such modules can be on one domain separate from the rest of the content of the website. This is because my target audience works for a company that employs software which will block any websites from their computers that have forums, blogs, etc. By having the websites separate, if they block my site they only block one side and not the entire website. I have a custom web service module that allows modules on one domain to perform work on the other side. I would like that web service expanded. Specifically, I would like a module/web service that will tie into the Active Forums 3.7 module and each time a user posts….it calls a method on the other website. This method exists on a module on the other website but may need to be exposed as a web service to work. Please see the attached document.
