I have a lot of experience matching data between two sources. I recently worked for a company where I did this on a regular basis, matching data hundreds or thousands of rows at a time. I was able to automate a large part of the process with formulas, etc, but sometimes a simple period threw off the matching. Like what you said in your project description, sometimes data is entered in different formats. I have the exact experience needed to match data of different formats. As you requested, I am incredibly attentive to detail and have an eye for consistency, as well. You've requested that this be an hourly-paid project. Hi I have extensive experience of this kind of data cleansing, de-duplication and matching, having worked with large mailing datasets in the BPO space over many years. I'm confident a predominantly automated solution can be found (using Excel formulas, VBA and/or SQL) with a final manual reconciliation to pick up any outliers. Depending on the conformity of the data sets it may be possible to re-use any code or workbooks created during the first task for any future work. This would reduce the cost and time for such work considerably. I appreciate I am new to Freelancer and you may receive many excellent bids from other users but I hope you will consider my offer.
