I am looking to create a 15 minute countdown for a corporate event. We have done this for a few past projects, and it usually consists of a simple still image with a running clock (that we create). I have attached 2 images of past samples. I am looking to enhance it this year. Our theme is Supermarket Center (ie Sportscenter for grocery store news). I would like to create more of a motion driven countdown without still images. I think a subtle moving backdrop might be nice (something like this: [login to view URL], minus the titles ), and then some form of interesting countdown. I like the idea of using typography, and changing the type setup each minute. In other words, there would be a motion transition each minute, which led into a new countdown clock for that minute (14:02, 14:01, 14:00, [ transition] 13:59, 13:58, etc.).
