Hi, I have written a DLL in C and need the DLL to perform a very simple HTTP request and then parse the XML that is returned by the webpage. I have tried to incorporate the changes myself; however, I cannot seem to remove all the compiler errors. All source code will be provided. The DLL is written in Visual Studio Express 2012. However, I need to ensure that the DLL is compatible with Windows and Linux when its used with these operating systems. Many thanks.

Hi, I would like to see the source code you have. I had made some windows software that reads xmls from URL( like getting BING maps sessions keys and such), I used tinyXML for xml parsing, and some custom simple sockets code for simple http requests. I have also 64bit ubuntu installed for linux development too.
