Hi, i would like a update function in my software. when i place files in my ftp, i want the software to immediately find the files in the ftp folder and close the application, and update it. and open back the latest one. ill give u teamviewer access get in finish the work. get moving :) simple as that! bid below! * only highly experienced c# developers needed. not newbies.

In C# i can write the code for reading the files and their content from a physical path or folder. from the project details you submitted, what i understood is.. frequent reading of a folder. that can be achieved.

Hi, I have done such functionality before. Usually after every start, application checks against a web link for a release note, and if newer available, downloads it and refreshes itself. This pattern can be tuned for your needs of course. There could be funny cases when the application runs on a PC with access to the internet through a proxy. If you will share more detailed information about the application, and the update mechanism you wish to apply, I can give you a more precise date estimate.
