Automated playing software (bot) is needed. The bot features: - search/join the game - get game data (grab screen pixels or read memory) - play depending on the strategy (needs to be customisable) - being able to keep simple chat conversations (hi/bye etc..) Looking for contractors with bot development, game development, windows development experience. The most wanted feature at the moment - quickest screen reading. The prototype needs to be done asap. I have been writing c/c++ windows applications professionally since the late 80s. I have been a software contractor on a very wide range of projects (my CV is available upon request). I have worked throughout the US as well as run a business based in Amsterdam with development offices in Estonia. As for the game world, I have written addons for WoW... most recently oQueue which was adopted by Blizzard and implemented into their game. I invented software multi-boxing with keyclone. I wrote oFollow to implement follow in battlegrounds for multi-boxers after Blizzard removed the capability. I have also written co-pilot bots to optimize dps for battlegrounds and raids. None of my bots used DLL injection to read memory, as that would 'cross the line'. My main mechanism has been a messaging protocol thru a screen reading technique.
