I need an application that I can use to collect different snippets (text mainly, but looking for a rich text extension). The snippets should be organised in a tree structure and should be persisted in a compressed for on a single "database" file. The application should be cross platform (I would prefer QT for that but open to different suggestions). Ask if more clarifications are needed.

Hi. My name is Asanka and I have experience in developing cross platform applications using Qt framework. In my understanding what you want is an application where the user is given an area to paste the text and the app will store that text in underlying db ( preferae sqlite) and update the user view by adding a leaf into the tree view. I'm an expert C++ programmer. I work with the language since 2007 now. I'm also very familiar with Qt, and will probably be using SQLite for persistence, either with the Qt driver, if using Qt, or with the official C API, which I'm quite familiar with. I prefer working with C++11 and above, if possible, but I work with C++03 very well, too. I also have a similar application I made for myself, using C#, that I can show you. The 30 day deliver time is an honest timeframe based on this other C# project, time I spent on other Qt projects, and hours per day that I can dedicate to your project.
