CodeIgniter Questions

Hi there, I need to be able to ask questions and get quick (same day/1 business day) answers from someone who knows what they are talking about with regard to CI. Half the time, when I put questions on the forum here, the response is ok, but the other half, I really do not get the info I am looking for. Also, sometimes the info in the forum or wiki begs questions I cannot get answered (e.g., is/was there a problem with CI Session that required use of Session Hybrid?) [login to view URL] [login to view URL] Most of the time, I can make do, but now I am in a new situation. I am building a new system with CI, a website for millions of visitors and thousands of users editing content on the site through admin screens. I can see my way to building this system, but there are times when another perspective is important. My opinion is it is unwise to build a major system without an outsider for answering questions and offering suggestions. I can pay plenty for this service. This will be real easy for you. I will send email with questions, you send answers. Once in a blue moon, maybe we have a phone call. It will not be constant, but you can charge by the minute or incident, whatever you prefer. If I am being thick headed, slow on the uptake, you can take comfort knowing my slow mind is your profit. If I am quick to understand, you can take pleasure knowing your scraps of time are compensated at a high rate. Examples of questions I am looking for help on now: Is it better to save session info in CI session vs. php sessions? At this point, I am not seeing any advantage to CI Sessions, I can do what I need with php sessions. The main thing I need to do is persist user data (role, userid, name, etc.) after I have validated their username/password which will have come in on the login form. Related question: isn’t there a vanilla user login component to plug into CI? Something I can just download and add to my CI, and boom, I have user login working? If you can answer these questions, I can pay you for your time. Any suggestions would be extremely much appreciated. Thanks, Dan
