Clean my system and fix 0xc0000005 error.

A friend used a software on my system and ever since then, I have been having problems running applications. (I suspect it is a virus) Whenever I try to run an application, I get an error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application". I have tried everything from CHKDSK to Automatic Repair to FRST to Rebuilding the BCD but none of them has worked. I need someone with experience on this error to fix it for me. If it is a virus, I also want my system cleaned.
