Get in on the ground floor at a forthcoming internet magazine dedicated to progressive politics, society, media and fashion. Moue Magazine is set to launch at the end of January 2008 and we are looking for article writers. Our issues are themed. The first "No Money, Mo' Problems" deals with poverty issues in America. Articles we have already prepared cover the topics of microfinance in America and drug use in rural areas. We do have a staff of writers but one of our people just recieved a cancer diagnosis so we are outsourcing to take some pressure off her shoulders. The pay is $3 per 300 words with features being limited to 3,000 words. The topic is your choice but it must deal with poverty in America, be well written and researched. I will be running it through copyscape and doing some fact checking. Please include a writing sample with your bid and a query about what topic you would like to write about. We plan to reuse writers so if this partnership works well expect more (and better paying) work in the future. I have attached some of our advertising materials to give an idea of our general vibe. The magazine is geared towards both genders.
