Business Analysis and Charting of Excel Data | Presentation in PPT Form

SUMMARY You are asked to analyze existing market information about sport supplement products, come up with criteria/parameters to slice and dice the information by; and run the appropriate graphs/reports necessary to make the analysis visual. BACKGROUND I am looking for someone with experience in data analysis and charting/visualization of excel data - preferably with relevant reference works completed. I have perfect ratings on Freelancer. I am a buyer with a great reputation and intend to keep it that way. OBJECTIVE: The objective is to gain a thorough understanding of the sport supplement product market from an analytical/quantitative perspective in order to identify opportunities and possible threats from the point of view of a new entrant to the industry. REQUIREMENTS: You will be provided with an Excel spreadsheet containing a table of sport supplement products prefilled according to specific criteria (dietary objective, manufacturer, price, size, flavor, etc. – See RESOURCES section). Using this information as a basis, the project will consist of two parts. Part I: - You are asked to create a list, which contains your suggested analysis parameters (2 or 3 at a time) to achieve the OBJECTIVE mentioned above, by looking for example at: o Market opportunities in price points in certain product types that are not crowded with products, etc. o Crowded market areas where a lot of products exist (price point, product type, ingredient type, etc.) o Competitive landscape. (We need to understand the competition. For example: we need to understand whether certain manufacturers are dominating specific “supported goals” or “main ingredients” vs. whether they are all focusing on similar areas.) o Consumer Preferences: understanding what products are being favored; what flavors are getting the best ratings, etc. o Discounting habits: what is the retail price vs. sale price per goal, manufacturer, etc. o Etc. - Your list will need to be very exhaustive and will be a requirement in accessing Part II of the project. Part II: - I will select from your proposed analysis criteria to limit the list. - You run the reports / generate the graphs. You are free to use any format that you consider appropriate (e.g. scatter graphs, bubble charts, Pivot table, etc.) depending on the best suited method for the parameters and to show your findings.
