Architectural portfolio editing

Currently I'm working on finishing my architectural portfolio. It contains 13 projects of various aspects within the field of architecture (e.g. architectural academic work, architectural litigation, woodworking, etc). This job requires help with taking my project descriptions to the next level making them sound both graceful and intelligent in their writing. Below is a sample of a project thats already been edited, very well in my opinion. This is the type of editing am looking for. “Meanings encoded in the landscape are not passive mnemonics that simply add historical contexts for living; rather, they are active translators of everyday practice and human experience.” Mexico’s citizens thrive on these experiences, on being active participants in their culture, as they are entrenched in their way of life. They seek to write their own history by avoiding “passive mnemonics” and offering visceral accounts of day-to-day life as they live it. However, with Mexico City being such a dense urban environment, it needs spaces that allow these interactions to flourish. The plaza contains this potential. Mexico City is a budding epicenter of cultural life and development; the new library/museum makes way for this environment to take shape. Through the dematerialization of structure, the building allows for an interaction of social networks by first raising the structure itself, thereby creating a plaza of the site, and second, by allowing the plaza’s inhabitants to have direct visual contact with the building users and multilevel functions. The main structural component that opens the library/museum lobby to a grand space secondarily acts as the general bookshelves. Through its continual flow of network spaces, the occupants experience both old and new structures while maintaining connections to the city and its people below.
