Looking to achieve the following list by using the Ardunio uno, adafruit NFC shield and a recommended shield for wireless communication. Ardunio can be programmed with a "name", this will be mentioned further later on. 1. Ardunio sits in a sleep or waiting state. 2. Once a NFC chip is placed on the reader, the reader lights up a Green LED and records the chip number. 3. The ardunio then waits for a second NFC chip to be placed on the reader (max 10 second before returning to step 1), and when it does, lights up a second green light and records the chip number. 4. Once both chip nubers have been collected. It will post the time, date, name of the arduino and two tag numbers over wifi to a mysql database (located on a local web server). The arduino then returns to step 1, and turns off the led's off. There should be some backup logic if the network connection is not available. Will work on milestone payments, with the final being upon working code on my ardunio. Looking for advise regarding the wireless shield.

I would recommend using Adafruit CC3000 shield for wifi. I've been working with this one with no issues. I have no problem on doing the firmware for the Arduino. I would also recommend using a RTC module with a battery (those are cheap modules), so you don't lose track of the time in case of a power failure. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Hello, I would love to take care of this project. I am a MSc-EE and electronics enthusiast and hobbyist currently working at Synopsys Inc. I have experience in C and Arduino. Regarding your project, I think you are missing one component like an RTC (real time clock) in order to know the date and exact time of recording. On the other hand, you could use the official wifi shield or a Bluetooth shield to perform the wirelessly communication.
