I plan to complete the project via writing an Excel macro contained in a separate XLSM file. This approach makes further use of the macro very convenient by offering a Control sheet containing cells populated by the usual Open file and/or select folder dialogs to identify the current input and output files and hosting command buttons and other controls if necessary. Further use of macros, fixing of bugs and minor changes are included in the bid without any additional fees. Regards

I have an enormous amount of experience in Excel and VBA programming and your requirement is quite clear to me. Just to make sure I understood it properly, once the VBA script is run, you want the program to create folders with the names of all column headers and then inside each folder, create text files with the information on the rows? Could you please confirm whether there would be only 1 row of data? and you are wanting this data to be used as the file name or the content of the file? I have written lots of programs in Excel-VBA. Some of the programs I've written include: Simulating the price of American Options (Calls and Puts) Account tracker for suppliers and customers Reports from ERP (taking data from the database and scanning folders for information/images) For the program to be made I expect to create 1 txt file per column, bearing the name of the header, located inside a folder with the name of the header.
