Design a Logo for Mid Century Modern Furniture Seller - repost

We are looking to hire someone to design a cool logo for us. We are a mid century and Danish modern furniture seller (1950s-1960s design). Our name is Modern Redemption. We'd like a fairly simple logo, possibly including the letters M and R. We like the use of negative space, though it's not a must. We'd like a couple variations. One that is simply the graphic and another that includes the graphic as well as our business name. We'd like the design to be clean and simple in the style of the time period our business reflects. Please reference something like the Herman Miller logo as a good example. Color: Please avoid the use of orange. Perhaps green, blue or yellow - but we are open to ideas. Our business is all about classic furniture design, so it is very important that the logo reflects that type of design and time period. (Mid Century,1950s-1960s, clean, modern, Danish style).
