How to validate file field in codeigniter through jquery/ajax? Description: I have a large form includes many fields for submission , this form is validated by jquery/ajax through Codeigniter (show codeigniter form validation from backend into browser through jquery), It works properly. Now I want to include "photos upload" also in this form my problem is how to validate the file upload the works like other field validation. Validation must be for file upload: -Required -Maximum size -Minumn size -Type must just image Validation for other field must be: -Required -Duplicate insertion -Max length -Min length -Email validation
