[login to view URL] Scale: please model the width, height, and depth (use units of inches) EXACTLY, according to the dimensions on the product page at the above URL. It's OK to estimate the internal lengths of the piece (e.g., the height of the legs, the height of the seat), but the overall bounding-box size should be precise. Positioning: Please position the center of the base of the bounding box of the furniture at the origin. Orientation: Please orient the furniture such that the direction from the back of the couch to the front of the couch lies along the positive z axis. Materials: Please don't worry about accurately capturing the materials of the couch. I'm mainly interested in the mesh; I'll add materials to it later. In your program, just assign materials with made-up colors. In this case, there will probably be 3 materials: the fabric, the legs, and the tips of the legs. Format: you choose the modeling tool! Please send a copy of the model in the native format of your program. It's also good if you can also export as .obj. Overall fidelity: it's OK if the mesh isn't very detailed. I'm mainly interested in having it done quickly! If you can do this job quickly, there might be a lot more jobs like it. Thanks, Ted

Dear Ted, I am a director at a small UK animation company called Moving Image Creations. We have experience in creating 3D animation mainly using Autodesk Maya. As such we have a lot of experience creating 3D objects. This is the very first bid we have made on freelancer. We are currently in between our main projects and are testing out this platform to see if it can bring in small scale projects to fill the time. i could have this done quickly, same day or next day type turn arounds. I use Pro-e creo software and can save in any common format you'd like. Woodworking is one of my hobbies and my whole house is furnished with IKEA so I'm very familiar with their furniture. Please take a look at my experience.
