This project is to write two web pages. These web pages are to be used as part of our automated calendar display system in our digital signage platform. Both web pages will require your understanding on how to read .ICS (ical) calendar files. The .ICS files will be stored on our web server and these web pages will need to reference the .ICS files every minute, and display calendar information such as Next Event (What is the next event in that .ICS file, and display relevant fields of information) as well as potential for having a countdown clock until the the event starts. Page 1) Read a specific .ICS file and display the next event for that file on a web page. Page 2) Read all .ICS files in a directory and display all events for the current day. Once an event time passes, remove from the displayed page and move all events up the list. These pages will be hosted on Centos 6.4, running Apache v2.2.3 with PHP 5.1.6. Examples of pages are attached along with multiple .ICS files for testing. Any questions, please ask!
