For single logo projects I typically offer 2-3 initial designs. Once you choose one as the best direction, it will be tightened to its final version with revisions as necessary. Without much to go on, I estimate 5 days to design the 2-3 initial ideas. The amount of time spent at this stage is proportional to how effective and functional it will be. It is good to check on it with fresh eyes a few days later. More information would be helpful with identifying the direction the logo should take. What is the story behind it? How does it describe you or your company? What is the message you want it to send? There are many directions to take. Knowing these things would help us to find the most creative solution. I work proficiently with all of the Adobe Creative Cloud programs. The logo would likely start with InDesign. Special effects, if any, would be rendered in Photoshop, and any vector art would be finalized in Illustrator. You will receive digital files to support web, print, and home printer formats. I prefer clean white space and simple solutions, getting the message across in a clear, well-communicated style. Almost 30 years in the graphics industry has given me the skills and experience to accomplish most any design task.
