I am running an online study when I ask participants to insert numeric values into cells. Participants' choices are easy, but the consequences of their choices can be hard to understand without a calculator, so I provide a text where I show participants (with live updates) what happens as a result of the values they inserted (with automatically calculated values). In excel or Google sheets this is really easy to do, but I can't ask people to fill the sheet and send it back to me. I need to send this as an online study to thousands of people and make sure results are recorded in an easily exportable format. I have attached here a copy of the sheet form I ask participants to fill, so you can see what I am trying to do. I am looking for someone who can help me either design this on from scratch a free webpage or use other existing tools (e.g. GoogleSheets, surveymonkey, Qualtrics). I think this should be fairly easy to do, but happy to discuss if the project would take much longer. Thanks!

Hi, I've looked into the spreadsheet that you provided and it seems that the task is relatively easy. I think the best way to handle that would be to create a dynamic website/web application backed by a database (MySql for example) with an option to edit the questions. The students could visit a link where they could provide input in input fields. The input would be collected by the website and saved inside the database. The student's choices could be then exported in a format like CSV using the interface of the application. The database would be browsable by you, so you could see all the answers provided by students. If you want, I could also integrate some automatic e-mail functionality (providing student's some feedback for example). I would like to discuss the details of the project by setting up a Skype call or Google Hangouts - it is much faster to discuss the details this way. Kind regards, Tomasz Musialek.

I have read all all the requirements. This can be done easily with a javascript code on the webpage. Where people can easily understand whats going on. The results can be stored in a database for later comparisons. There are numerous free hosting providers that can host this web app for free. So, you dont have to pay extra for anything.
