I have solid experience in Java programming, including object oriented analysis, design and programming. Using Lisp I created some personal toy languages and am currently writing a CMS. I learned it from the ground up, using the famous "Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs", "Practical Common Lisp" and Paul Graham's "On Lisp". I also have knowledge of (purely) functional, acquired with the Haskell programming language and my strong background in writing maintainable, good and modern C++ code.
Therefore, I am able to convert your simple Java program into a Lisp program, either keeping to the rather object oriented approach that's common for Java code, or introducing the more functional style of the "Lisp Way".
I would implement the code on CLISP, but keep to standard Common Lisp to keep the code portable across Lisp implementations.
I hope you got interested in my bid, I would be glad about future cooperation.
