Hi, I use EC2 for all my development/testing work - all the projects I have completed here (and elsewhere) have been developed/tested on various EC2 CentOS/Asterisk servers that I have set up on Amazon. I compile Asterisk from source as this tends to be the easiest way to get it up and running in the cloud. I also install FreePBX from source rather than via the repository and I can tie it to an Amazon RDS rather than a local MySQL instance on the Asterisk server if you wish. I have also set up Amazon S3 storage for storing call recordings which may be of use to you (cheaper per GB than using disk space on the EC2 instance ). This is a seamless and automatic feature, so in terms of performance you would not notice any difference to local storage. Regards, Tom

You need at least a medium instance. If you need to create one, you must select CentOS OS (otherwise, if you provide AWS credentials I can create by myself).

I am red hat certified Linux server admin and working on VoIP technology since 2008 . I can install freepbx and A2billing on your server I need only root credentials of your Linux server to access from putty . If anything else please let me know. Thanks Mohit Sharma
