Create 3 simple VBA macros (Microsoft Access 2010)
I have only basic beginner-level Access 2010 knowledge, so I need somebody to please create 3 simple macros for me. I would like you to use the most SIMPLE solution possible, for each macro . . . nothing fancy, if possible.
In addition to the writing the script or macro (or however you want to do this), I will need you to list the exact STEPS I need to follow to insert that button . . . or script . . or macro on my form. I realize these are “beginner” questions, but that is my experience level at this time.
So, you will need to do 2 THINGS : (#1) write the code, and then also (#2) clearly tell me how I can “insert” that code into buttons on my website.
Each of these macros will be used with my form called: [Violet Fire Books Inventory]
MACRO #1:
(a) Create a button that does the following when clicked:
(b) Go to form control called [Isbn13]
(c) Copy the control's value into the Windows clipboard
(d) Then go to [login to view URL] (the [login to view URL] website)
End of macro
***********************************************************************************
MACRO #2:
(a) Create a button that does the following when clicked:
(b) Apply a FILTER to show only records that match BOTH of the following 2 conditions:
The value of form control called [Process Now or Later] = “Process LATER after RESEARCH”
AND (also)
The value of form control called [Sold or Not Sold by VFB] = “Unexamined”
End of macro
***********************************************************************************
MACRO #3:
(This is very similar to Macro #2)
a) Create a button that does the following when clicked:
(b) Apply a FILTER to show only records that match BOTH of the following 2 conditions:
The value of form control called [Process Now or Later] = Nul (or “empty”, or whatever you call it when this text-field control is EMPTY, with NOTHING in it).
AND (also)
The value of form control called [Sold or Not Sold by VFB] = “Unexamined”
End of macro
Thanks for your help.
