Before I start the project details. If you're going to ask to release milestones BEFORE submitting the work, then this project is not for you, no monies will be released before getting the service and this is the policy of Freelancer.com. Freelancers who randomly bid on projects and just copy and paste are not welcome in this project. Finally, please stick to the budget I've specified, all bids that exceed budget will be overlooked. ------- I'm looking to develop for both iOS and Android. In function, the app will operate very similar to Netflix. Upon startup, the user will be prompted to enter their username and password. Once entered, the app will check with our mySQL database to authenticate. Once authenticated, they will simply be brought to their home page where all their channels are listed - the list of channels will also be returned from our mySQL database. When a channel is selected, a video player opens and plays the HLS stream. All things told, this is a pretty simple app, with many additional features that will be rolled out in additional releases that we would also want to use you for.

Hi, I would like to help you with your project. Would you consider using PhoneGap for developping this app? It will allow us to target both platforms Android/iOS with the same code base.
