Goal is the development of a app for the game checkers (Draughts - [login to view URL]) on the android plattform! First release should just contain a single-play-mode where user can play against the computer. The design and all the needed game logic should be management by the developer! Needed features: - playing the game checkers/draughts against the computer - a start (like a menu) and a end screen It should be considered that in further releases the game should be online multi-player-able.

Hello. I'm a Java expert currently working on Java applications for a mobile environment and I've already worked on Android applications (including publishing). My dissertation was on an Artificial Intelligence subject therefore I can easily develop the algorithm for the automatic player at different levels of difficulty (basic algorithms suitable for checkers are well known and tested). In my offer a simple 2-players-1-phone mode is included, which can provide a starting point for the development of a full multiplayer support in the future.
