Hello Thanks for posting a clear problem description. SQL Server has excellent built-in tools to perform data cleansing and can be highly customized to suit specific formulas and table structures. I will create scripts for these tools that you can re-use for future cleaning efforts. My approach to this project would be as follows. 1. Discuss your specific data cleaning requirements. 2. Review the database structure. 3. Develop the restructuring and cleaning scripts required to complete the project. Database design and optimization is a specialty of mine. I recently restructured a database for an Oil & Gas client who had a terabyte size database. Before we started he was seeing queries take ten to fifteen minutes and was not able to locate important information. After the project, queries executed in ten seconds and he was able to get to the critical information faster. I have a bachelor of science and have taken statistical analysis courses. I also experience with statistical applications, most recently with alarm management. I am located in Canada (Edmonton, Alberta) which makes it easy for us to co-ordinate time zones.
