Changes to user interface for existing website on 1/20/2011 2:20:20 PM

This project involves changes to the interface for our website [[login to view URL]][1]. In order to implement these changes you must be familiar with Visual Studio 2008 and know CSS, JavaScript, and C# MySql and .NET ADO. [login to view URL] is a mapping website with a database backend. The changes primarily involve linking graphics to web pages, and dynamically changing the position of some elements as a function of the page displayed. As an example, the footer does not currently line up with other elements. The login form is too large for the space assigned to the home page; as a shortcut we moved the footer down the page, but this solution is cosmetically unacceptable. Instead, we would like to change the position of the footer dynamically, in one position on the home page, in another when logging in. To do this efficiently you need to be able to manipulate CSS with JavaScript. You need to know C# in order to implement Localization. For our website localization means displaying either English or Spanish for all prompts, text, form headings, controls, labels. Everything that can be read on the site must be in the language selected in the language drop-down list. Instructions on how to implement Localization can be found in the Appendix.
