Configurable Web Advertising Server and Engine

What we require is an engine to serve ads on webpages. The engine must be able to perform the following tasks: 1) Generate a code snippet which can be included on participating web sites 2) Through the code snippet, track the popularity of the sites it is placed on 3) Also track the number of clicks and number of impressions generated 4) Store all CTR information in a central database 5) Retrieve ads from the central database and serve them on client pages through the code snippet 6) Communicate with the central database and make sure the ads being served are legit - paid for, within ad dates 7) Map out ads to the correct target sites - ads are to be served on sites chosen by the advertiser; use central db to obtain info 8) Offer an administration interface, over the web, which allows us to control everything about ads being served 10) Offer a user interface, over the web, which allows normal users to place ads, schedule their runs, and remove existing ads 11) Allow for several different ad types to be served by the system: the ads will vary by dimension and positioning on target site We will also need you to design the parts of the central database that you are interfacing with; however the design must be extensible as other features will also be added to the system (such as a sales system). Please make an initial bid to get started. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All modern browsers.
