Customer Role

Programmer is to make modifications of the NopCommerce ecommerce package ([[login to view URL]][1]).? We have already made significant modifications of the software, based off of NopCommerce version 1.3.? Programmer will take our existing code and make the modifications described below.? Programmer will be given access to our SVN system and will be required to thoroughly comment all changes in the code. This project involves the updating of the NOP customer Roles function. ## Deliverables Please review attachment to see images associated with the description below Expand "Customer Role" functionality NopCommerce has a function called Customer Role by which a customer can be assigned to a role (which is like a group). ? This is currently used for tax functions, etc.? The Admin can set which roles a customer belongs to inside the Manage Customers section: ? ? ? 1.? ? ? ? ? ? ? We want to add a function that allows special products to be displayed for certain Customer Roles.? So, Programmer is to add a "Customer Role Mappings" tab into the Manage Products section of the backend, in between "Category Mappings" and "Manufacturer Mappings".? ? ? ? This tab should pull up a list of all Customer Roles with checkboxes that allow the admin to select which Customer Roles this product should be displayed for.? At the top of the list there should be an “All Customers?? checkbox which enables this product for all customers, regardless of whether or not they are a member of any Customer Roles. ? The Products page should by default show all products that are marked as “All Customers??.? When a customer logs into their account, any additional products that are associated with a Customer Role they are a member of should automatically be included in the list of products shown. ? ? ? 2.? ? ? ? ? ? We want to add a function that allows Payment Types to be available by Customer Role ? Currently the payment types accepted in the shopping cart are simply set to on or off (Is Active set to true or false). ? ? ? When you click edit various settings are available. ? ? ? Programmer is to add a Customer Role Mappings tab to this section, just like for the Products, that allows the Admin to set which Customer Roles the Payment Method belongs to.? The first option should again be “All Customers??.? The appropriate options should appear as selections inside the shopping cart when it comes time for the customer to choose their payment method: ? ? ? ? ? ?
