Hi
I am looking for someone to video and edit one 10 - 12 minute instructional craft video on card making.
The job involves videoing and editing footage of someone who is an experienced card maker guiding the viewer through a step-by-step process to achieve a finished card. The sequence must be logical and easy to follow.
Ideally, the video should have an easy to intermediate learning level for the first part of the demonstration. The techniques should then be developed a few steps further for those viewers requiring a higher degree of challenge. In effect, there will be a minimum of 2 finished card products that can be achieved from the video.
I can supply a comprehensive list of suggestions across techniques, themes and events, if that would be helpful. There will be ongoing work from this project.
## Deliverables
All deliverables must be [uploaded to Rent A Coder][1] before the deadline(s) for this project...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then [do not start this project][2] .
1) The is 1 video to be produced. Suggested time is a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 12 minutes in length delivered in full screen AVI format.
2) An appropriate instructor must be sourced and meet requirements as outlined below.
3) The videos must provide a 2 stage step-by-step instruction. The first stage will demonstrate a beginner to intermediate level card product. The 2nd stage will demonstrate additional steps of a more advanced or complex nature for the more experienced viewer. Ideally, stage 1 will be the base for stage 2 demonstrations. Stage 2 should not be a new product featuring new materials and design. Completed variations of the techniques may be shown toward the end of the video for viewer inspiration only.
4) Vision - As the videos are instructional, the vision should focus on the hands and the activity of making the card. As such, no headshots, wide shots or artistic shots are required. Still shots can be used to enhance viewer learning provided they are integrated into the video appropriately and provide value. Editing should be used to make the video streamlined and reduce any unnecessary delays (for eg, allow glue to dry for 5 mins).
5) Audio - Verbal instructions should be clear and audible and can be provided as part of the vision, if the instructor possesses solid voice characteristics and the venue and recording equipment allow for good quality recording. A voice track can be provided in place of inappropriate live sound recording.
6) The tone of the videos should be light, friendly, understandable and enjoyable for the viewer.
7) The instructional videos can draw from a wide range of techniques which can be provided to the sucessful bidder.
8) I'll review and approve the videos to make sure they are within specification.
9) I'll retain complete ownership and copyright and have exclusive right to use all work on my website and for direct mail.
10) It doesn't matter to me if you use content from other sources to give you ideas for the videos, just don't copy the content and infringe on a copyright. All work must MUST BE ORIGINAL ….
