Barcode Reader Application

Hello, I'm looking for a application that can detect barcodes in packages and then reads them showing some information in the screen. Functions: - When the user put the package upfront the cam it will detect the barcode. - Once detected it will read it. - Show information provided by the bar code. The application needs to connect to a camera or webcam and detect the barcode, once detected it reads the bar code and present some of the information read in the the application or screen. It only needs to detect and read european packages barcodes in food and general consuming products. The application should work in: - Windows XP, Vista and 7. - MacOS Snow Leopard.
