I will provide the coder with all the source code
necessary. If you are an experienced C++ programmer,
this shouldn't be too complicate.
inside the APP subfolder might be the only thing you
need to modify.
Your job is to refactor the code in the application
inbound that handles the doubletalk mapping functions(all funcitons are already given).
The function that contains this code is called
parseInboundAPP. This function exists in the app
subdirectory and the [login to view URL] file. There are
almost 400 lines of code that make up the doubletalk
mapping function code.
It is separated into 3 sections
- since there can be 3 mapping functions associated
with a single data element.
Your job is to produce the smallest set of code
possible that combines this 3 major sets of code into
a single set of code.
You MUST consider the
possibility that people may ask you to support -
sometime in the future - the chance that there may be
more than 3 functions. Since you are a good
programmer, your solution to this refactoring will
take that into account.
I attached a zip file. It contains a README file and
all of the doubletalk code, the test files and the
result files that you can compare your doubletalk
output with. The test files are in the test
subdirectory. The files to which you can compare your
own results are in the 'results' directory.
All coders, should read and understand the requirment
(see README in attachment), before bidding.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions
or need further explaination about this project.
Thanks!
