We are looking for an applet with three basic features: - a grid that takes objects of differing sort, ie it should be able to take object A and object B at the same time. The different objects share some key characteristics. These common features should be available for display. The grid should also be sortable and leave users the choice of which columns to show. - scripting functionality, some features of the objects from above needs to be calculated. New types of objects will be added continuously and therefore new calculations needs to be added. The programming language of the scripting engine is open for suggestions. - a notebook type of GUI, ie one page contains the grid, one page contains the script editor, and other pages setttings and other things. To access the different pages, a menu is preferrable. Additional information: We are looking for an applet for our website with a sortable grid/table that can present different types of objects (financial instruments). Some features of these objects (price, risk etc) needs to be calculated. We want to be able to edit, add, and delete these functions through scripting within the applet. The grid/table should take objects, ie it takes a stock-object and a bond-object at the same time and presents the common features. All instruments will share some features like name, price, risk, volume, an so forth, but overall the common features will not be constant for all instrument types. Also, the grid should allow for sorting and a choice of which columns to show. The scripts should preferably be edited and created in a memo-style editor within the same applet. Our vision is to have the grid on one 'page' and the scripting on another with a menu to switch between the two. The scripting part will not be accessible for all users. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
