Custom Wordpress template design w/graphics

I'm looking to customize some Wordpress templates. I'd like a 3 column design with space for Google/Yahoo ads. I'm new to Wordpress, don't understand the tagging yet and suck at graphics. I need help. :-) I like the clean simple design of Kubrick and others. I can share other examples of designs I like. I'm not looking for anything too artistic--just functional. I'll upload a PDF of a mock up. I'd like a couple of diffferent color skins created for the same design. I like darker backgrounds with shading around the blog. This helps the page sort of "jump" off the screen. I imagine it's light photoshop work to create some different color themes based upon common elements. I'd also like the CSS to be clearly commented. This helps me when I go back and make simple additions like adsense code drops, some flash banners or color tweaks. I haven't used rent-a-coder before so I'm a bit new to this. Hopefully, I'm proceeding correctly. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform I'm using Yahoo hosting with their Wordpress install. This really made things much easier. The new Wordpress 2.0 helps too. I've used some other hosted solutions but I like the power of Wordpress and Yahoo hosting. We can take a couple of existing themes and use them as a starting point.
