Reminder Solution for Vehicle Testing Station Premise: A client that runs a Vehicle testing station wishes to use a reminder system to inform their customers of the net inspection date. The reminders can be sent via text, email, and postage. The preferred method is to use wordpress or a similar cms so it can be accessed via the web. The option to change and update each entry is needed. This is due to the reminder dates varying depending on what date and type of vehicle is inpected. Some details that will be entered are: Name Car registration Address Email Phone Mobile Reminders? –yes/-no Type? -Text – Email – Post Date of inspection Reminder Date (this will need to have various options for the administrator to enter) 6 Months ( Default) 1 Year Other (with a calendar to choose) Date of service (if nothing is entered then it is ignored). Please Note That software needs send the reminder exactly 7 days before this date entered for text and email. But 15 days before for postage. Custom Date for reminder. Please note if an entry is made here it circumvents the Auto reminder feature. A postage reminder is sent as an attached PDF to the administrator. Each reminder is on a separate page. The page will be formatted to a postcard size. There needs to be an option to change any of these details at any one time. And the software needs to understand this and adapt reminders accordingly There needs be full logs of what is send and a dash board explaining the number of entries sent each month, week and year… and by what type etc. An invoice needs to be sent each week to the client and the administrator. With the number text, emails, and letters sent in a month. The 3 main type of users are Administrator, Super user, And User. Administrator. Option to change everything… billing etc. Superuser. Enter in data view dash board, reminder dates etc. They are running a similar appointment booking pro software on joomla that does the same thing. We are looking at developing something similar. The main problem is the solutions out there are based around a CRM type system. My client has no need for customer data other than being able to remind them of the next service/inspection date.
