Dashboard & Yahoo Widget Programmer - Data Graphing App

We need a widget connector for the data generated on our website, [login to view URL] Netvibes, an open widget engine, must be used to generate a widget compatible with Apple Dashboard, Yahoo Widgets and Google Desktop. Netvibes is AJAX / Javascript and XHTML - based. Knowledge of XMLRPC is important, too. The widget will graph data that exists on a website (see below for details). The data is simple: title, date, value (a graph of data over time). The widget must: * Accept a unique pass string used to pass and receive website user data through XMLRPC * Connect to the site * Give the user a choice to select a category, subcategory and type of information graphed in the widget (three dynamically-generated dropdown menus, based upon information on the website-side). * The widget must save its state, but from the front pane (user-facing, not settings) provide the ability to switch dataset graphed. * The widget must graph the data in the widget on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly scale We have lots of experience working with people around the world, and manage our projects through a Basecamp project management site. If selected, you will be working with an expert CodeIgnitor programmer. You will have to work with the programmer to help develop the access method, and to ensure the data is in the right format to pass from site to widget. Please specify if you will need for us to develop a design, or if you can produce a design (based upon the look and feel of the website). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
