I have a PHP based POS that is lacking one feature I need. I need a way to "Receive" items from a customer, and have the value of the item added as credit to their account. The POS we currently use already has a system for Customers and Credit in place, as well as a Receiving system for our suppliers - but at the moment it does not give us the option to receive from customers so we need that single feature added. This is to serve as a way to track purchases of pre-played games from our customers. As most of the groundwork is already in place and the software is PHP based this should not be an especially difficult task. We are a small business, and therefore have a limited budget.

Hi, I've some experience in creating POS systems. I've developed two, one for a Multi Level Marketing company and one for bars. I have a basic understanding of the accounting procedures involved in the process. Since your system has an allowance for customers and credit as well as receiving for suppliers, I would look to these modules for guidance and model the additions based on them. I would like to know whether the items being received from customers are items that are in the system or could be any kind of item. Regards, Anthony.
