I have a lot of spread sheets i need to upload into a master spread sheet individually. The system will work in the following way: · The current spreadsheet will be imported into the database · The database fields will be as follows; colour, clarity, cut, shape and weight (users will also be able to filter by these headings) · Users will have the ability to bulk upload/export from the database via CSV file · The database will be password protected and can have multiple users assigned · There will be a find and replace function i.e. if a record is bulk uploaded with the same name as an existing record it will be replaced There will also be two main functions: 1. 1. Comparing items – there will be a tick box option where users can select a max of 4 products and when filtered only these products will show up in the list 2. 2. Request to view stones - there will be a tick box option where users can select a max of 10 products and when they click submit a form appears with the following fields: · Sales rep name · Customer name · Customer details (these are just free text fields) · Customer viewing date (calendar format) This information would then get sent through to 2 separate email addresses (the information will not be sorted).

Hi Adam, I've been working for Lloyds Banking Group for the past decade, building databases and reporting systems for them, so I've definitely got enough experience for this. Frustratingly I can't show it off. Your system sounds like something I'd enjoy getting my teeth into. I'd build the front end to be user friendly and would probably sway towards using Bootstrap for the front end (just a library of HTML, CSS and Javascript) because of it's ability to build this kind of clean design really quickly for you : [login to view URL], [login to view URL] I'd start building it on my servers just to save time, but when it's done you'll have complete ownership of all of the code and I can either host it for you (for a very low annual cost) or I can help you move it to your server. We'll need to establish some rules for the database to follow when importing (such as how to handle duplicate SockID's) but we'll be able to play with those once the main system is up and running to get it set up how you'd like. Hi, What you are requesting for is a system where your administrative team can upload csv or excel files and the system should capture all the information and add it to the database. If the sock ID exists in the database, it should be updated with the information that is in the csv or excel file. The system should have a function to export all the information in the database to an excel file similar to the format that you have uploaded. When your sales visit the site, the list should be loaded and two rows of checkboxes should be available to the customer. One row only allows a maximum of 4 selections where the information can be compared. The other row has a maximum of 10 selections where a viewing session is arranged. Once sales enters the information, emails should be sent to two email addresses informing of the appointment that is made through the system. The system should be protected by login modules before any information is available. If my understanding on the above is correct, it will take about 10 days to finish. Regards, Wilson
