From mbd to csv and impor tin mysql table by table for every database. I check twice that all the records of an access table has been imported on the mirroring mysql table. Also will you need more things on the new database that are not supported in access. For example foreign keys, stored procedures etc... What collation and encoding you want the database to be, utf-8 is best i think. Perhaps you would like to discuss some things first

Hi, I've done some work in the past but in this case it was migrating data from MS-ACCESS to MSSQL server. I realize you want to do the migration on your Linux server but I think this may be a bit difficult from the research I've done. What I can do is create a software in .NET which will take the MDB database and export the data to a MySQL server. This will have to be done in Windows then you can export these databases to your Linux server. Another thing I could do is have the application output sql scripts which have the code for creating the tables and inserting the data and then you could simply run these scripts on your linux server and have the tables and data imported. As long as the tables in the databases are the same this should work for any database. Regards, Anthony.

I am an expert in Microsoft Access with 17 years’ experience and particular skills in VBA and integrating Access with Excel, Word and Outlook. One of my major projects included interfacing an Access database with a MySQL based booking application. This involved creating a synchronisation process between the two databases and give me a good experience of Access/MySQL issues. A good method would be to link the Access database to MySQL via an intermediary Access application and synch the data across. However this application would have to run in Windows. Can you run a Widnows/Office application in a VM on your Linux server? Alternatively you could produce an SQL Dump offline on Windows machine and then import it into MySQL. My bid for $250 is to produce a basic Access application which would synch ONE of the tables from Access to MySQL. You could then replicate this for the other tables or hire me further to complete the work. I am a new Freelancer but I am not new to freelancing. hi the basic way to convert from access to is to convert each table and record to sql statements.. Microsoft access provides the ability to do this , and then import the statements into sql database ( sql server or my sql ) the job is simple for me .. and it will completed in less than 5 days. thank you

I´ll start now and i´m finished within 1-2 hours i got nothing to do right now so i got plenty of time and also i know how to do what you want if really all databases got the same structure its finished within 10 minutes (if the script i´m writing for it is ready)
