AJAX Lookup

I am looking for a AJAX / PHP based class that will provide an input box in HTML to be clicked and open a div that greys out the background without allowing the user to click anywhere else but the div. Once the div has poped up it must load the results from a mysql query (as a parameter passed to the class) the resulting grid must have configurable row colors and sorting on each column. olso the must be one inputbox on the grid div that allows one to filter the results on fields specfied in the class methods.
