Hello coders I have a website and I am looking to setup an email notification system. Here is what I want to do.
I enter an email address and the duration of how long this member will stay on the email notification list into our system. Once the time expires the member stops getting the email alerts.
So for example, lets say email address1 is entered into the system and I want to send them email for 2 days. For the next 2 days anytime I send out an email update that email address will get the notification. But once those 2 days are up, that email address is automatically deleted from the list.
The contents of the notification email that gets sent changes so I will need to be able to change the subject and text of the email.
There are 2 options using a php function or the send mail program in my hosting control panel. The only thing is there are a couple of rules we must follow.
We cannot send out mail to more than 25 addresses in one batch, whether sequentially or in parallel. Such batches must "sleep" for at least three seconds between each delivery attempt.
Send e-mail to more than 5 recipients by way of a Web-based script. (E-mail sent by any script may be monitored and or quarantined for analysis, in order to prevent Junk E-Mail origination or propagation through our servers.)
The list will likely eventually have around 300 email addresses after I enter them all so keep that in mind when coding the project.
Really looking for someone that can do this fast, hopefully within 2 days, faster if possible.
Any other questions let me know.
