checking serial numbers with hard drive serial numbers against online database (anti_piracy effort)

I need two things. First:I need code to create trial versions and then register those versions using an unlock code. I have tried the freebies found on the net such as active lock but want something else. Second: For this program I need a way of checking serial numbers with hard drive serial numbers against information posted to a form. What I need is code to extract HD serial # I already can get username and Computer name.
