We are a Microsoft OEM and we manufacturer our own PCs. At the moment we use Windows Pre-Install Environment (WindowsPE) to install Windows XP HOme and Windows XP Professional to new computers direct off our Windows Small Business Server 2003 to all newly built computers. They are branded with our logo and once we press the SysPrep button they are resealed ready for our customers to turn them on and follow the OOBE screens where they enter user details and licence key etc.
We need to implement the same system but for Windows Vista for all 4 editions, (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business & Ultimate).
From what I have read we need to build a new PC and brand it and add any applications we need, for example Adobe Reader then create an image of the PC and then add it to the server so we can distrubute it to other new PCs.
We will give you remote access to a new PC that has been installed with a standard installation of Vista and we can also give you limit access to our SBS2003 server to implement the whole project. It would be best if we could talk to you over telephone or instant messenger as you were working to ensure everything is done as we require.
