I have an agreement with a company that provides news on a daily basis on it's website. They made an XML feed for me. What I want now is a way to get the data from this XML feed into my database. My website is based on PostNuke which already has some backend capabilities. [login to view URL] So what we have is: 1. a URL 2. a title 3. some text 4. an image That has to be entered into my database in the correct table and fields with some additional fields. Perhaps a good idea would be to create a "[login to view URL]" script, activated by cron, that checks the XML feed every X hours. Please do bear in mind that more XML feeds from other companies have to be added at some point.
